I know that you have all used chalks.... and sometimes we forget that we have some of these great tools in our bag of 'tricks'...  I have been working on scrapbooks and decided that each page was going to have something special on it... and it would be something that maybe I hadn't used in a while... I found my chalks again... I hadn't used them in a few months... and so I started to create a few cards and papers for a scrapbook... You will see  them here...

This paper was created by using a couple of leaf stamps... then using my chalks I spread the colors I love for my fall leaves and also ones that matched the pictures... I love this paper... very fall like...

This might look large, but it is about 5x7 and I used it on a page telling about childrens games in the 1800's... a lot of fun for the page... I stamped crows  on the rust paper with Black and also sepia ink from Ranger... and then using the Pumpkin Embossing folder from Provo I created the pumpkins and also the cut out embossed ones... Love doing things like this... really adds a lot to the page... I used my chalks to color the pumpkins and leaves... gave a very nice soft effect for the page...

I did a few cards and love these... I used a lot of different things to create them.. but in a few hours had dozen made...

using Inkadinkado stamps, and the embossing folder from Provo, ribbon by Offrey, I made this card... I then embellished with the chalks... and also the beads which I made from some of my printed papers... and Voila... a card that I love... and hope that the person that receives it does too.

Oh so much fun... a simple flower stamp by Inkadinkado... and I used turquoise inks and then used lime glitter glue by Ranger... I used another embossing folder by Provo and then created a piece of 'ribbon' myself with some dyes and cloth... so much fun... The color is done with my chalks of course...

Using another stamp by Inkadinkado... I created this Love card...

Done in all purples and blues... I love it... I used the dotted swiss embossing folder by Provo and then used black ink to accent it... Tied a ribbon by Offrey and put some more of my beads onto the card...

Thank you with a butterfly... Of course I made the butterfly... tea bag folding... what else... and also used a stamp from Inkadinkado  to create the circle of Thanks... then I used my trusty chalks to create the beautiful background... so pretty... I had to make 6 of these. .I fell in love with the whole design so much... ever happen to you???  Anyway... I love it...

BUT ...

My very FAVORITE CARD....

The Mermaid card...

You can not see that is going on in this card...but I will try and explain it all to you...

I used stamps by Inkadinkado for the water spouts.. .and then used Turquoise and purple glitter glue by Ranger inks... Then using a stamp by 100Proof I stamped the mermaid... and colored her in with Pearl Ex and also Perfect Pearls by Ranger... She glimmers when moved around... having turquoise, greens and gold's all over her... she is really pretty.. then I also used some Perfect Pearls on the water spouts... they are a light violet... then I used the bubble embossing folder by Provo and also black ink to enhance it... and tied a Offrey ribbon around the paper...I used my chalks to lightly color the background of the entire card...  I love this card... Might not be able to send this one out... it just might be mine...

Hope you enjoyed seeing my chalk cards and papers... I think that you better go get yours out and play with them... get your hands into them and you will have fun plus... Don't' be afraid to use all the colors... I will be adding more cards... as I have another 5-6 to finish, please check back in a few days... thanks...
